Lawrence Advisory Services is teaming up with a Meyer-Chatfield to Host a Series of Seminars for Credit Unions (Con't)

We are going to discuss such key topics as current trends in the credit union industry including changes likely to occur in the future, what you need to be doing now for the new methodology for accounting for loan losses that is scheduled to approved in the first quarter of 2016, and ways to increase the yields on your investment portfolio and reduce the cost of any senior executive deferred compensation plans you may have in place.

Most credit unions today use a IRC 457(f), 457 (b) (hereafter referred to as “457”) plan for these deferred compensation plans.  If you have one of these or are considering implementing one, you really need to come this seminar as we will show you a way to provide a better plan for your executive while also eliminating any liability and the annual expense of the plans. Sounds too good to be true? Come to the seminar!

Feel free to bring other staff from your institution or invite other credit unions you may think would benefit from this. Because we are also having a networking event with cocktails and appetizers after, we need to know how many are coming from your credit union. If we could also obtain the names of the attendees it would be great as so we can prepare name tags ahead of time. The two speakers, Toby Lawrence and Rick Boothby, both have over 30 years of so there should be a lot of valuable information at this seminar. We hope to see you there!
